Final Winter Invite update

Merry Christmas, TSMers!

We wanted to share some more strong TSM performances swum this past weekend at the 2013 Southern California Swimming Winter Senior Meet.

Chris Abdelmalak's 2:07.43 200br (4 second drop) and 1:53.69 200IM were personal bests (PBs).

Sasha Ayzenberg made 2 Jr National cuts in butterfly with a 1:51.10 200fl and 49.82 100fl. Congratulations, Sasha!

Bella Siering dropped 5 seconds for a 2:09.75 200fl.

Gabe Schneider dropped 4 seconds and made his first junior national cut with a 1:50.05 200bk. Other nice 200bk swims: Brendan Casey 1:47.79 (3 sec drop & winter Sr Nat'l cut) and JP Mortenson 1:58.06 (2 sec drop).

Brendan also swam a PB 200fr in 1:41.87.

In the 500fr, several PBs were swum:

   Gillian Caverly 5:08.84     

   Jamie Dodd  5:04.27

   Hunter Loncar 5:01.38

   Sean Steele 4:48.41

Gillian had a terrific 200bk swim with a 2:12.94.

In the 50fr, quick swims and PBs were turned in by:

   Cathy Gomez 25.58

   Lorien Orpelli 25.62
