GSA was founded in April 2016 by James and Laone Taylor with the mission to keep youth in their Community mentally and physically healthy by providing an avenue for them to channel their recreational energy through competitive sports in a control environment where both parents and coaches are working together for their success.
We are committed to open doors of opportunities beyond sports through character building and cultivation of the spirit of achievement by inspiring each child that is involved in GSA to believe in their ability to grow beyond today through hard work and self-discipline. At GSA Academic achievement and excellent behavior are upheld above all else as they are the key to a successful future for our youth.
Gratitude |
We encourage the practice of being grateful. Being grateful leaves more room for focused decision making and creative thinking. |
Stewardship |
We are committed to the investment of time, talent and treasure in our youth. |
Achievement |
We value passion, achievement and perseverance. We are inspired because we believe in what our youth can achieve through hard work and dedication. |
Opportunity |
We value opportunity because each player’s success enriches us all. Personal growth and prosperity should not be limited by where someone comes from – but only by how big they can dream and how determined they are to reach their dream. |
Altruism |
We foster teamwork and encourage unselfish concern for the well-being of others. We teach our youth to reflect this concept in actions and attitudes of commitment, caring, dedication, responsiveness, and understanding. |
