In the fall of 2013, former collegiate athlete and 2x World Champion Taylor Mondick decided that the greater Fort Worth area needed a place where kids could receive world-class coaching in an uplifting environment. Having worked in the industry’s top programs all over the globe, Taylor took his passion for tumbling and competitive cheerleading to the next level and founded Rival Cheer Academy.
With less than 20 competitive athletes and in the back of a gymnastics facility, Rival began to make her mark in the sport of Cheer & Tumble.
We are now entering our 12th competitive cheer season. Moreover, our tumbling program is unlike most of our competitors. There is no standing around, no lack of enthusiasm, and no lack of skill development. Our classes and clinics are designed to keep our athletes moving and motivated.
Most importantly, we are thriving today by the grace of God alone. We train our athletes in a loving environment and are thankful for the many families that call Rival Cheer home.
