Eighteen divers have been selected to represent the United States at the FINA World Junior Diving Championships, set for October 8-13 in Adelaide, Australia.
The junior world team was selected based on performances at the recent USA Diving Junior National Championships and features some of the most prominent up-and-coming young divers in the United States. The team includes three divers who won medals at the 2010 Junior World Championships: Samantha Bromberg (Bexley, Ohio), 2010 junior world bronze medalist on platform; Michael Hixon (Amherst, Mass.), 2010 junior world silver medalist in synchronized 3-meter; and Bryce Klein (Southlake, Texas), 2010 junior world silver medalist on 1-meter.
