Game #51 CAN 6 USA 7 (WOMEN'S GOLD MEDAL GAME)

In the most expected rematch of the tournament, Canada and United States went at each other in the gold medal game. It was a hard fought game from beginning to end. Canada jumped ahead with precise outside shots 3-1. During the second quarter, USA took a lead based on penalty shot, extra man situation and outside shooting. Canada could only score one goal from the outside to keep the score close.
