Moscow will host Second FINA Aquatics Convention
The FINA World Aquatic Convention is a biannual event which enables all areas of the aquatic community to share knowledge and ideas, build relationships and develop an exciting and positive future for the sport.
The 2nd FINA World Aquatics Convention will take place in Moscow from 29 Oct – 1 Nov 2012, and will build on the success of the inaugural event which took in Punta del Este, 2010.
The 1st FINA World Aquatics Convention in Punta Del Este was the start of a FINA initiative to build aquatics sports to create a future of promise for all stakeholders. The 2nd FINA World Aquatics Convention in Moscow will once again unite the aquatic world whilst assisting FINA as it looks to enhance its five aquatic disciplines and then promote its stars.
The content and format of the convention has been developed in order to enhance the experience for both FINA’s member national federations, and for the wider aquatics industry.
One key development for Moscow will be the inclusion of the FINA GOLD MEDAL SWIMMING COACHES CLINIC, which will gather leading swimming coaches from around the world to discuss performance and the secrets of excellence.
