Mexico will host the 2nd FINA World Diving Coaches Conference
The 2nd FINA Diving Coaches Conference is scheduled to take place at the Mandarin Carton hotel in Tlanepantla, Mexico, from November 8-10, 2012. Those wishing to attend can register for the Conference until October 19th. The event is organised in cooperation with the Mexican Swimming Federation.
The objectives of the Conference are the following:
To serve as a meeting point of excellence following the 2012 Olympics
To share with successful coaches their winning strategy
To discuss the sport's global development and evolution worldwide
To find new perspectives (and getting to know High diving, which will be introduced at the 2013 FINA World Championships in Barcelona)
The list of lecturers includes: Mr. Chava Sobrino (AUS), Mr. Michel Larouche (CAN), Dr. Saul Marks (CAN), Ms. Zhong Shaozhen (CHN), Mr. Ivan Bautista (MEX), Mr. Fernando Platas (MEX), Mr. Jesus Mena (MEX), Mr. Steve McFarland (USA), Mr. Joey Zuber (AUS), Mr. Niki Stajkovic (AUT) and Mr. Claudio de Miro (ITA).
