Gold Medal Coaches Bowman, Schmitz and Suguiyama will speak at FINA Aquatics Convention

 

LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND--FINA has posted a draft schedule for the Swimming coaches clinic which will be October 29+30, 2012 in Moscow, Russia. The clinic is being held as part of the 2nd World Aquatics Convention, which
runs October 29-November 1.

 

Coaches speaking at the clinic are:
  -Romain Barnier, France -- coach of Florent Manaudou
  -Bob Bowman, USA -- coach of Michael Phelps
  -Matthew Brown, Australia -- coach of Emily Seebohm
  -Christian Donzé, France -- France's National Technical Director
  -Xu Guoyi, China -- coach of Shiwen Ye
  -Graham Hill, South Africa -- coach of Chad le Clos
  -Ferenc Kovácshegyi, Hungary -- coach of Eva Ristov
  -Dirk Lange, Germany -- coach of Cameron van der Burgh (South Africa)
  -Haitao Lui, China -- coach of Liuyang Jiao
  -Todd Schmitz, USA -- coach of Missy Franklin
  -Yuri Sugiyama, USA -- coach of Katie Ledecky

 

FINA President Julio Maglione and FINA Executive Director Cornel Marculescu will also address the attendees.

 

Those interested in attending the clinic should check with their National Federation, as registrations for the clinic must be submitted to FINA by a member federation.
