FINA Bureau Schedules 2015 World Masters Championships in Kazan, Russia
LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND--A post by the Swedish Swimming Federation, Svenska Simförbundet (SSF), indicates that in July the FINA Bureau decided to merge the Masters Worlds into the main World Championships, beginning with 2015 in Kazan, Russia. This would mean that Masters Worlds would be held in 2014 (in Montreal, Canada), and then again the next year. The Bureau's intention is to make the World Championships larger, with 12,000-14,000 athletes. The SSF post [in Swedish and English] can be found here:
