CCCAN posts qualifying standards for 2014 Central American & Caribbean Games
VERACRUZ, MEXICO--The Central American & Caribbean Swimming Confederation (CCCAN) earlier this week posted the qualifying systems for 2014 Central American & Caribbean Games that will be held in Veracruz, Mexico, November 14-30, 2014. The manual features the qualifying systems for all 37 disciplines at the Games, including all 5 Aquatics disciplines. Swimming will feature 38 events, and a maximum of 206 swimmers, with a nation allowed to send a team of up-to 24 swimmers (12 males, 12 females); time standards are listed in the manual, and the qualifying window is September 14, 2013-September 14, 2014. Open Water will feature 2 events (a men's and women's 10K), with 24 swimmers in each event. For Open Water, swimmers must be at least 14 years old.
