FINA 2013 Open Water events launch with 10K in Santos, Sao Paulo, Brazil
LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND--Both of FINA's Open Water circuits for 2013 begin this Sunday, with races in South America:
-the 10K circuit starts off in Santos, São Paulo, Brazil; and
-the Open Water Grand Prix (races over 10K) starts with the Rosario 15K, in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina.
Both will be the first of 8 races on each circuit. FINA has also posted updates related to three of the races on the Grand Prix circuit:
-the Sabac 19K has been cancelled for this year
-the Ohrid Lake race will be August 24 (distance still to be announced)
-the Capri-Napoli 36 will be September 1 (the last race of the circuit)
