Brasilia, Brazil is one of Three Cities to bid for 2019 World University Games
LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND--The International University Sports Federation (FISU) has announced that three cities are currently bidding to host the 2019 World University Games. FISU has received bid intention letters from: Baku, Azerbaijan; Brasilia, Brazil; and Budapest, Hungary. FISU is to select the host of the 2019 Universiade this September; bidding opened last September. Upcoming edition of the Games will be held in Kazan, Russia (2013); Gwangju, South Korea (2015); and Taipei, Chinese Taipei (2017).
