Three U.S. Olympians set two American records
 
Three U.S. Olympians set two American records this week at the 2013 SEC Swimming and Diving Championships, held Feb. 19-23 at the Texas A&M Natatorium.
 
Olympic gold medalists Shannon Vreeland and Allison Schmitt joined University of Georgia teammates Megan Romano and Jordan Mattern to set the American, U.S. Open, NCAA and SEC record in the women’s 800-yard free relay Tuesday, turning in a time of 6:52.40.
 
Then on Friday, Olympian Breeja Larson, representing Texas A&M, set the American, U.S. Open, NCAA and SEC record in the women’s 100-yard breaststroke, turning in a time of 57.43. She also set the SEC record on the final night of competition in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:05.71.
