At the 2013 Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association (CCSA) Championship at the Gabrielson Natatorium on the campus of the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, Beaubrun concluded an impressive meet, winning two Gold and two Silver medals and making two NCAA “B” cuts.

It was a gutsy performance over the weekend 21st to 23rd  February by the Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) Engineering Senior Beaubrun who won the Silver  medal in the 100 yd breaststroke event and Gold in the 200 and 400 yd medley relays and Silver in the 200 yd free Relay. FGCU finished first with 712 points, followed by Liberty (609), Georgia Southern (482.5), College of Charleston (353.5) and Gardner-Webb (349) to round out the top five teams.

“It’s great to win our fifth title. It was an up and down day with two disqualifications and it turned out the relay was legal,” said four-time Coach of the Year Neal Studd. “We did not let it spoil our day, I want to thank my team and awesome coaches for a spectacular year.”

Studd was named Coach of the Year for the fourth time while first-year diving coach David Boyko received Diving Coach of the Year.
