LONDON, UK--Five swimmers are among the nominees for the 2013 LaureusAwards, which will be announced on Monday (March 11) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The nominated swimmers (and their award category) are:

  -Daniel de Faria Dias, Brazil (Disabled)
  -Missy Franklin, USA (Sportswoman)
  -Michael Phelps, USA (Sportsman)
  -Shiwen Ye, China (Breakthrough)
