IOC visits 2020 Olympics bidders this month
LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND--The Evaluation Commission of International Olympic Committee (IOC) this month visits the three bidders for the 2020 Olympics. At the beginning of this month, the group visited Tokyo, Japan; this week they are in Madrid, Spain; and next week they will be in Istanbul, Turkey. From these visits the Commission will create a report for the IOC membership for the election of the host for the Games. The host will be elected this September, at the IOC's meeting in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The Aquatics venue plans for each are currently:
Istanbul: an Aquatic Centre, Diving Stadium and Water Polo Stadium
