Canada's Carol-Ann Ware 10th at FINA Diving World Series

EDINBURGH, Scotland – Carol-Ann Ware of Beloeil, Que., took 10th spot on Sunday on the women’s 10-metre tower to conclude the third stop on the FINA World Series diving circuit.

Yajie Si and Huixia Liu of China finished 1-2 in the final with Alejandra Orozco of Mexico third.

Ware competing at her first international event this season, did not advance to the final placing fifth in her semifinal heat.  The top-three from each of the two semis advanced.

Ware and her younger sister Pamela Ware were fifth in the 10-metre synchro on Friday.  Pamela Ware was also fifth on three-metre Saturday.  The Ware sisters were the two Canadian entries at this week’s event.

The fourth of six stops is April 26-28 in Moscow.
