2013 eSynchro U.S. Age Group Championships
Set to Begin in Riverside, Calif.
 
World's largest synchronized swimming competition has nearly 1,000 athletes  

  INDIANAPOLIS - Nearly 1,000 athletes ages 11 to 19 will compete at the 2013 eSynchro U.S. Age Group Synchronized Swimming Championships, June 21-29, at the Riverside Aquatics Complex in Riverside, Calif.


The championships, the world's largest synchronized swimming competition, will feature four age groups - 11-12, 13-15, 16-17 and 18-19 - competing in four events: solo, duo, trio and team.

 

Single-day tickets are $12. Tickets for senior citizens and children ages 6-12 are

$6. Free admission for children 5 and under. A multiple-day pass is $25.

 

USA Synchro will celebrate its 35th year as a national governing body with a reception at 8 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at the Riverside Art Museum. Carol Valles also will be honored as USA Synchro's outstanding philanthropist. Tickets are $65 in advance and $75

at the door. The ticket price is a tax deductible donation and will help support USA Synchro's National Team Program.

USA Synchro is based in Indianapolis and serves as the National Governing Body for the sport of

synchronized swimming, appointed as such by the United States Olympic Committee. It is a membership based and not-for-profit organization which services the sport from the grass roots level to the National
