The 11^th Annual Primary School Swim Meet, sponsored by Cox & Co. & CGM Gallagher swims off this Friday 21^st June at the Rodney Heights Aquatic Center with participation expected from about 8 of the Primary Schools.

The ongoing program is conducted by the St Lucia Amateur Swimming Association in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sport and Ministry of Education and is designed to bring the competitive aspect of swimming into the schools and is hoped to be part of a larger competitive school program. The meet is also part of swimmings celebration of the Olympic week which starts from the coming Monday

The Primary Schools have benefited from the efforts of the National Federation and the Government ministries of Sport and Education for the hosting of the meet

The meet starts at 10 AM and will have generally short races and geared towards the different levels of swimmers including those at competitive club level and below.

ALL SWIMMERS MUST HAVE A BASIC COMPETENCY IN SWIMMING. ANY

CHILD NOT DEMONSTRATING BASIC SWIMMING ABILITY WILL NOT BE

ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE.

Last years Primary School Meet was won by Bonne Terre who will be looking to repeat the victory
