ISHOF Board Charts The Future of the Museum
The fifty-year lease with the City of Fort Lauderdale will terminate in 2015. While the City is planning a complete renovation of the Complex, these plans were made without our input and are not consistent with our vision for ISHOF's future.
As expressed by Museum consultant Peter Sollogub, of Cambridge Seven Associates (

) after a recent visit to our museum: "It's a magnificent collection collection...with (a) national, global and historical breadth...I think (ISHOF) has a great opportunity to really create a museum that is a powerhouse." We agree. While negotiations with the City are ongoing, the organization will continue to explore other options.
