-36 swimmers max per nation, 18 males/18 females
(initial proposal= same; 2011 Games= 52 per nation max)
-swimmers qualified with any qualifying time could swim up to 5 events
(initial proposal= unlimited)
-swimmers qualified through Universality could swim up to 3 events
(initial proposal= unlimited)
-maintain the 2-swimers-per-nation-per-event cap
(initial proposal= unlimited prelims but only 2 advanced to final)
(2011 Games= 2-max-per-nation, per-event)
-A/B Finals for all events, except Relays and the 800/1500 freestyles
--800/1500 = Time Finals (one heat at night)
--relays= Prelims/Finals with only 1 heat back for Finals
(initial proposal= Prelims/Semis/Finals in 200s and under;
prelims/Finals for 400s and relays; Timed Finals for 800/1500)
-selection priority:
1) A qualifiers
2) Universality qualifiers (1 male/1 female per nation)
3) Relays and relay-only swimmers
4) B qualifiers until cap is full
-qualifying meets: match 2015 Worlds qualifying list
