WADA revokes accreditation for anti-doping testing laboratory located in Rio de Janeiro
RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL--The anti-doping testing laboratory located in Rio de Janeiro has had its accreditation from the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) revoked, and is no longer able to accept WADA-related tests. The revocation goes into effect on September 25, 2013; however, the lab was suspended from testing on August 8, 2013. Both are due the lab not meeting the International Standards for Labs.
