Julie Fabre, former French coach and 1996 Olympian, named head coach
 
INDIANAPOLIS - USA Synchro announced its 2014 U.S. Senior National Team on Wednesday following a selection trial in Riverside, Calif.

The U.S. national team, which will train in the Bay Area starting in January, is scheduled to compete in eight national and international meets next year.

 

The swimmers earning a spot on the 2014 U.S. Senior National Team are:

Julie Fabre, France's head coach at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics, was named head coach. Fabre, who swam for the French national team for six years, helped lead France to a fifth-place team finish at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.

 

Most of the U.S. national team members competed for the U.S. Junior National Team in 2013, highlighted by a team gold medal and several individual medals at the UANA Pan American Championships in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in August.
