12th Annual Secondary School Swim Meet held in St. Lucia
FIRST NATIONAL BANK SECONDARY SCHOOL MEET 2013
In what could only be described as a hugely successful 12th Annual Secondary School Swim Meet held in St. Luciaon Friday 1st November 2013, sponsored by the First National Bank St Lucia, over 140 of the islands top swimmers, representing 9 Secondary Schools, participated in an exciting and competitive event.
The meet was organized by the St Lucia Amateur Swimming Association (SLASA)in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Department of Sport in the Ministry of Youth and Sport and the Rodney Heights Aquatic Center
The Top Girls Team trophy was won by St. Joseph's Convent with 231 points followed by Leon Hess Comprehensive with 215 points and Vieux Fort Comprehensive third with 127 points; the Top Boys Team Trophy was won by St. Mary's College with a total score of 336 points followed by Vieux Fort Comprehensive and Corinth Secondary with 155 and 146 points respectively. The Overall Trophy was earned captured by the St. Mary's College whose male team still won more points than the coed schools male and female combined.

After the opening ceremony comprising a march past of the teams and welcome remarks, the meet commenced and turned out be highly competitive with the schools having their vocal supporters and a fully interested and absorbed First National Bank attendees thoroughly enjoying the swimmers efforts
