World Swimming Coaches Association Analysis of Top 25 Times in 2013
 
2013 World Rankings Summary published in WSCA news--Wednesday, February 19, 2014

FORT LAUDERDALE, USA--509 swimmers from 47 nations swam to a top-25 placing in the long-course World Rankings for 2013. In total, 243 females and 266 males swam to the top-25 in an event; this is down 10 females and up 2 males from 2012.

Compared with 2012:
  2013 had 509 swimmers from 47 nations in the top-25
  2012 had 517 swimmers from 49 nations in the top-25
  Nations added (6): Chile, Finland, Hong Kong, Portugal, Slovakia and Switzerland
  Nations dropped (8): Argentina, Austria, Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Estonia, Greece, Kenya & Zimbabwe
