USA Synchro Names US Junior National Team to compete in Finland

USA Synchro Announces U.S. Junior National Team    
Team will compete at Junior World Championships in Finland    
 
INDIANAPOLIS - USA Synchro announced its 2014 U.S. Junior National Synchronized Swimming Team on Monday following the final stage of trials in California.

 

The swimmers earning a spot on the 2014 U.S. Junior National Team are:   

Amanda Urke (Medina, Minn./Santa Clara Aquamaids) was named the replacement swimmer.

 

The U.S. Junior National Team will compete at the U.S. Open in Henderson, Nev., July 15-19,  and the 14th FINA World Junior Synchronized Swimming Championships in Tampere, Finland, Oct. 22-26.

USA Synchro is based in Indianapolis and serves as the National Governing Body for the sport of

synchronized swimming, appointed as such by the United States Olympic Committee. It is a membership based and not-for-profit organization which services the sport from the grass roots level to the National

Team. The mission statement of USA Synchro is "to provide leadership and resources for the promotion and growth of synchronized swimming, to achieve competitive excellence at all levels and to develop broad based participation."
