It's never too late to become a Masters swimmer!

Masters_swIn 25 days, a worldwide wave of enthusiam will run through the city of Montreal (CAN), host of the 15th edition of the FINA World Masters Championships from July 27 to August 10, 2014.

The colourful celebration, the first edition of which was held in Tokyo (JPN) in 1986, will welcome swimmers, divers, water polo players and synchro swimmers aged 25 to more than 100 years old from all parts of the world for a two-week unforgettable experience.

From 2015 on, the championships will be held in conjunction with the FINA World Championships, taking place in Kazan (RUS). The World Masters is FINA's only non-elite competition, yet the biggest in terms of participation.

At the last edition in Riccione (ITA), more than 14'000 competitors took part in the event. The Masters movement, with the FINA World championships as its pinnacle, conveys a strong motto: fitness and fun at any age!
