RIO 2016: Maria Lenk Aquatic Centre will host Olympic Diving & Synchro Events

Maria Lenk Aquatic Centre was constructed for the 2007 Pan-American Games.

 

 

The field of play was designed in accordance with International Swimming Federation (FINA) requirements for major international competitions, and requires minimal modification for the 2016 Olympic Games.

 

The Maria Lenk Aquatic Centre is owned by Rio's city government is managed by the Brazilian Olympic Committee.

 

The venue will be fully integrated into the Olympic Training Centre (OTC) as a centre of excellence for all aquatics disciplines, as well as being used for regional and international competitions.
