Costa Rican Swimming held Open Water selection races for the 2014 Central American & Caribbean Games
HERRADURA, COSTA RICA--Reports indicate that the Costa Rican Swimming Federation, Federación Costarricense de Natación (Fecona), held its Open Water selection races for the 2014 Central American & Caribbean Games this past weekend in the waters off Herradura. In the weekend's 10K race, 5 swimmers (3 males, 2 females) qualified to swim at the Games in November.
 
Those swimmers are: María Angélica Astorga, Cristopher Lanuza, Francisco Montero, Rodolfo Sánchez and Adriana Víquez. A report on the races can be found online [in Spanish] here:
