My love of swimming started when I watched my best friend in her first meet back in 2001. From that moment I decided to join the Palmyra Aquatic Club at age 9. I competed with PAC during the winter and summer seasons until I graduated high school in 2010. Throughout my high school years I attended Bishop McDevitt High School and swam on the high school team all four years. My favorite events were the 100 breaststroke and 200 IM. I attended college at Lock Haven University and swam for LHU all four years, qualifying for PSAC my junior and senior year. My best events in college were the 100 breaststroke and 100 butterfly. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.

When not on the pool deck, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Joel and our son Isaac as well as reading and yoga.

I started swimming at 5 years old with PAC and graduated from Palmyra in 2004.  I continued to swim in college at Misericordia University for all 4 years.  My events of choice were 100, 200 backstroke and 400 IM.

Brooke Piechocki Assistant Coach

After a 7 year hiatus, Coach Brooke is very excited to be back on deck with the Sharks! She started swimming at the age of 5 for the Lenker Manor Marlins in Harrisburg. From there, she moved to the Heatherfield Hurricanes where she began her coaching career and swam until she graduated high school from Bishop McDevitt. While in high school, Coach Brooke swam mainly freestyle- 50, 100, and 500 for McDevitt and the LPAC Gators. She was able to break the 50 Free school record her senior year and still remains in the top 10 records for that event. After high school, Coach Brooke went on to swim at Penn State Harrisburg on their club team while majoring in Communications and continued coaching for LPAC until 2018. When she is not on deck, she is working her full-time job in talent acquisition, traveling with her husband, Gage, playing with her dog and cat, or spending time outdoors when it’s warm.
