Classical Ballet Conservatory fuses multiple styles of ballet methodology to create a curriculum that produces dancers who are technically strong and choreographically versatile.

A CBC dancer is trained in multiple other forms of dance including Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, and Tap, with other genres to be added to the curriculum soon.

The Dance Training at Classical Ballet Conservatory has been designed into levels appropriate to the age, maturity and dance expertise of each student. Students will elevate to higher levels at the conclusion of each year, in a systematic and progressive manner.

Teachers at Classical Ballet Conservatory are all college educated in the field of dance, or have professional experience equal to a degree. Because of these strict teaching requirements, our teachers are able to incorporate modern understanding of human anatomy and physiology to minimize dance related injuries while maximizing strength, endurance and flexibility.

The conservatory offers a program designed to take students from their first introduction to the art through a full course of ballet study, whether students are interested in a recreational approach, or a career in dance. Students take classes in technique, pointe work, pas de deux*, men's technique*, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary and Tap. Within each class a fundamental understanding of music is also incorporated. The academy begins accepting students from ages 3 through 7 for creative dance, pre-ballet, and tap; courses that lay the foundation for further study of classical ballet. Beginning at age 7, students enter a more structured sequence of training, with stages designed to increase their technical skills, stamina and discipline in accordance with their age and physical development. The youngest children take class one to two days a week. From the fourth level on, students attend classes a minimum of three days per week. Classes are held August through June.
