SMAC Winter RECAP Congratulations to all SMAC swimmers who swam at the SMAC Winter invite on January 28th and 29th. We had 81 swimmers attend, swimming a total of 408 races. Of those 408 races, 65 were new events that the swimmer has never previously done. We had a total of 33 first-places swims, 44 second-place swims, and 29 third-place swims. SMAC Meet Highlights SMAC Fall Classic, Nov 20-21, 2021 SMAC (Shenandoah Marlins Aquatic Club) brought 75 swimmers to the Waynesboro Y where we hosted our 14 and under Fall Classic. SMAC Meet Highlights Richmond, VA Oct 2-3, 2021 SMAC (Shenandoah Marlins Aquatic Club) brought 52 swimmers to the SWIM RVA Blastoff Meet in Richmond October 2-3. SMAC, which has competed out of Waynesboro since 1958, has expanded its Team to include Crozet and currently has training facilities in both locations.
