Delwyn Jones was born and raised in the Fredericksburg area. He has three children ages 14,17 and 25 and a 1 year old grandson. After that, he became the Head Coach for the Rappahannock Raiders. During his time, the team doubled in size in the first two seasons. Delwyn developed a highly competitive senior group, with many national level swimmers. He has had multiple Scholastic All American Swimmers, and in his first three years with STAT, sent 9 swimmers on to swim collegiately, with 4 of those swimmers competing in Division 1 Programs and, through the years, has had swimmers recruited by multiple Top 20, Division 1 Programs in the nation. He had the privilege to train and assist one of his swimmers in qualifying for and competing in the Paralympic Trials. Through the years, Delwyn has led age group and senior swimmers to become State Champions in VA Swimming and in High School, Zones Champions, and has had several swimmers achieve Top 10 Virginia Swimming, Eastern Zone, and National Rankings. During his first year and a half with the STAT senior group, they established 40 new team records between short and long course competition. He has had multiple champions at NASA Juniors and has had swimmers achieve top 16 finishes at NCSA Juniors, Sectionals and Pro Series Meets. He has also assisted in the coaching of multiple Olympic Trial, and World Championship Trial qualifiers.

With over 40 years in aquatics management, Michelle has taught swim lessons, adaptive classes, and water aerobics. She's an American Red Cross Instructor, specializing in lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and Safety Training for Swim Coaches.
Michelle has coached multiple summer league teams and guided numerous swimmers through successful journeys in competitive swimming. She later served as Head Age Group Coach for the Rappahannock Raiders, fostering elite swimmers including NASA Age Group Qualifiers.
Beyond her career, Michelle is a proud wife, mother of two, and grandmother of four, residing in Stafford County since 2003. Her passion lies in sharing knowledge, imparting energy, and teaching essential skills to her team, always ready to inspire with the rallying cry: "Let’s go, STAT!"
Coach Lindsay began swimming at age 6 and competed year-round for 12 years. With 9 years of experience as a USA Swimming coach and currently serving as Head Coach for the Ferry Farm RSL team in the summer, we're thrilled to welcome her aboard. Her expertise promises to enrich our coaching staff and enhance our team's experience.
Coach Lisa is dedicated to teaching our Novice 1 group, emphasizing foundational technique and essential stroke legality. Alongside coaching, she manages the gym at Quantico while balancing roles as a wife and mother. Lisa also leads invigorating water aerobics sessions and swim lessons on the pool deck. We're thrilled to have her athletic expertise enriching our team.
Coach Kaylee spent her years growing up around the pool as a competitive swimmer from age 8-20. Kaylee has spent over 10 years as both an athlete of Coach Delwyn’s and as an assistant coach, from 2018-2020. Coach Kaylee then went on to spend some time with her family in CO where she was the head coach of a summer swim team. After a small hiatus from coaching to become a paramedic and get married, she is back and more excited than ever! STAT is very excited to have Coach Kaylee back on their coaching staff and look forward to the energy she brings.
