Meet Update for 1/25 and 1/26

Dear Parents,

I have both good news and bad news to share regarding the upcoming swim meet.

The WAVE Winter Invitational originally scheduled at the Juanita Aquatic Center in Kirkland has been canceled today due to space limitations from the host team (WAVE Swimming). However, we are pleased to announce that our team has been accepted to participate in the 2025 PN PDST Winter Invitational, 1/25 &1/26 hosted by the Pacific Dragon Swimming Team (PDST) at the Mary Wayte Pool.  ( Yes, the pool we have regular practice at! )

This change provides a fantastic opportunity for our swimmers to compete alongside some of the top swimmers in Washington across all age groups. However, if any swimmer does not feel ready for this level of competition, it’s perfectly fine to wait and join their first meet when they are more prepared. We will be discussing event entries with the swimmers soon.

Key Information:

• USA Swimming Registration: All swimmers must be registered with USA Swimming.
• Meet Date: 1/25 ( Sat); 1/26 ( Sun)
• Event Entries: Each swimmer may enter up to four (4) individual events.
• Entry Fees:
  • Surcharge: $15.00
  • Individual Events: $4.50 per event
• Schedule:
  • 8 & Under and 10 & Under events will take place:
    • Saturday, January 25 (afternoon session)
    • Sunday, January 26 (afternoon session)
    • 25 yard events are only avaiable for 8&Under
