It is that time of year when we start to talking more about the Annual Ice Show.  The Black River Falls Figure Skating Club celebrates it's 40th Anniversary!  The Annual Ice Show will be held March 22-24, 2024.  This year's theme is celebrating the past 40 years with a conglomeration of past ice shows.  While the ice show is a great way for your skater to be able to show their favorite people the hard work that they have accomplished this year with skating, it is also a committment by both parents and skaters.  THE ICE SHOW HANDBOOK IS AVAILABLE ON THE CLUB'S WEBSITE AT WWW.BRFFSC.COM. PLEASE REVIEW THE HANDBOOK AND WHAT IS REQUIRED OF BOTH SKATERS AND PARENTS.

Each year we sell bars and have baskets to raffle off which has served as a great fundraiser for BRFFSC.  We will be doing this again this year.  Please watch for a sign-up genius to be coming out to sign up to donate pans of UNCUT bars and to donate either an entire raffle basket or items towards a raffle basket.

ICE SHOW WEEK SCHEDULE IS AS FOLLOWS:

For ALL skaters, Wednesday, March 20, beginning at 5:30 pm, will be Show Run-Through. This is done out of costume, and is intended to be done by the Ice Show script.

Thursday, March 21, beginning at 5:30 pm will be Dress Rehearsal, which will be done in FULL costume, and exactly like the night of the ice show.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO ARRIVE 15 MINUTES EARLY DURING THE WEEK OF ICE SHOW SO THAT WE CAN START ON TIME AND BE RESPECTFUL OF EVERYONE’S VOLUNTEERED TIME.

This year we are trialing the addition of a Senior Citizen/Grandparent viewing night.  This will be held on Thursday, March 21 during the dress rehearsal practice.  This is at no cost, but goodwill donations are encouraged.

The only exception to enter the ice show without a ticket, is if you are working during that show.

If you are signed up to work at a show, you need to check in with a board member at the door.

There will be sid for which doors volunteers and skaters should enter through.
