CAST State Team News

Addison Lundt qualified for an impressive 6 state events: including 50yd freestyle, 50yd butterfly, 50yd backstroke, 50yd breaststroke, 100yd freestyle & 100yd breaststroke. She will be bringing a relay team...  including Kenzie Smith, Jackie Syring, and Paige Walske. Addison has also qualified for a state-qualifying meet in February with her 50yd breaststroke time.  

Evan Retzlaff has qualified for state with his 50 Breaststroke time of 36.27, 3.5 second under which is needed.  He will also be swimming a 100yd freestyle & a 100yd breaststroke as bonus events. Although his 50 breaststroke is eligible to qualify him for the state meet in February, his birthday has him aging up just days before that meet.

Evan, Addy, and the relay team will be competing in Brown Deer at the Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center over the weekend Dec 13-14th.  Good Luck to all the swimmers!  CAST is extremely proud of your accomplishments. 

CAST’s state team will be part of a parade escort out of town on their way to the 12 & Under WI Single Age State Championship!

Please make arrangements to celebrate with them if at all possible!! The Clintonville Police department has requested that, for everyone to have room to get ready, and to keep consistent with previous parades, we meet at the Middle school parking lot at roughly 12:40pm.  The parade will start promptly at 1pm.

The Parade route is:

-        Meet at the Middle School parking lot

-        East on Green Tree Road

-        South on Harriet St.

-        East (L) on 20th past the Middle School

-        South (R) on Main St ….

-     West on 9th Street 

-     South on Hemlock 

-     East on 8th Street 

-     South on Main Street ….  Through town and ends @ Family of Christ parking lot.
