Kettle Moraine Figure Skating Club Junior Board Information 

The KMFSC Junior board participate under the supervision of the Advisor designated by KMFSC BOD. The Junior Board members coordinate events throughout the year to engage members in social and community events and increase awareness about figure skating in the local community. 

Goal: The KMFSC Junior Board’s goal is to increase commitment to our club’s skating community, provide opportunities for leadership, and promote an atmosphere that is welcoming to all current and potential club members.

Requirements: KMFSC Junior Board members will be required to attend the majority of the Junior Board meetings during the year (usually one Sunday afternoon/month) and should expect to assist with most of the KMFSC Junior Board and Club events. 

The Junior Board of Directors consists of members serving 1-year terms, each term can be served a maximum of 2 years. Elections/appointments for positions occur in June of each year. There are 6 positions available: President, Vice-president, Secretary/Historian, and 3 General Board members. If there are not enough members to fill this, the Junior Board can continue with less.

Executive Board Members Qualifications: 

1.) Completed LTS program, Actively Testing/Competing, Age 13 and older

2.) KMFSC Full Club Member in good standing. Must be a KMFSC Full member for a minimum of six (6) months prior to submitting an application.

3.) Demonstrates strong leadership abilities

4.) Demonstrates a respectful, caring, and kind attitude towards others

5.) Demonstrates and models ice etiquette on and off the ice

Junior Board of Directors general member qualifications: 

  1. KMFSC Full Club Member in good standing. Must be a KMFSC Full member for a minimum of six (6) months prior to submitting an application
  2. Passed LTS Freeskate 3
  3. 12 -18 years old
  4. Demonstrates a respectful, caring, and kind attitude towards others
  5. Demonstrates and models ice etiquette on and off the ice
