Important: Membership Scanning and Contact Info Updated Required

Swim Team Parents, 

I'd like to remind everyone that all swimmers should scan their YMCA membership cards (or check in at the front desk) each day when they arrive at the Y. Please make sure your child brings their card and scans it in before heading to the pool. If your child doesn't have a card, please get one from the front desk. Many children wear their card on a lanyard or attach it to their gym bag so they always have it when coming to the Y. If they ever forget their card, they can simply ask the front desk staff to scan them in for them. 

If your family has not recently (in the last year) updated your contact information in Daxko, please stop by the front desk to confirm that your address, phone number, and email are current and that the correct parents' info is listed as the main contact for your child. All Y members should also have their photo taken by the front desk staff and attached to their Daxko profiles. 

The Y requires members to scan in at each visit for several important reasons:

  • To ensure a safe and secure environment by knowing who is in the building at all times. 
  • To maintain accurate attendance and facility usage records.
  • To confirm active memberships and proper access to member programs, including Swim Team.
  • To help staff quickly contact families in case of emergencies. 

Thank you for your help in keeping our Y a safe and organized place for everyone. Please make sure your swimmer scans in each day and that your family's information is up to date.
