Swim Team News

Good Morning Swim Families,

**  Bronze clinic on Saturday, January 31st. 8am-9:30am.  We will swim first, change into dry clothes and go to the conference room to review video footage.

Coaches are looking forward to the Oshkosh Squishmallow Meet.  We have quite a few swimmers signed up and some relays!

Meets:

     Feb 6-8  Oshkosh Meet.  

     Feb 14  Manitowoc Meet.  Sign up is out.  DEADLINE:  2/8/26

     March 6-7  Door County Meet.  Always a well run meet.

     March 14-15  SEA Sectionals Meet in Racine, WI   DEADLINE 3/7/26   This is a great meet for all swimmers and a favorite meet for the

 viewers ;)  You can wear pants and a long sleeve shirt (think sweatshirt!) and be comfortable!  Yes, you heard that right.  Seating is in the pool area and is very breezy and roomy.  If your swimmers is trying to go to State, this is the last chance to make the cut off times for their events.

      March 20-22  State Meet at Schroeder.   DEADLINE 3/15/26 This is an invite only meet based on qualifying times.  Times are posted on the Swim Team board.  Heads up... if your swimmer is going to State, there will be a pasta party at our Y on Thursday, March 19.  ** More information about State below.

       March 28-29.  Regional Swim Meet at The University of Minnesota Aquatics Center.    DEADLINE 3/15/26  This is also a qualifying swim meet.  Times are posted.  The Regional Swim Meet is a huge meet consisting of teams from 8 surrounding states!  It is a great experience swimming in a D1 university pool.  A nice end to the season and a fun weekend away.   The information packet for this meet has been posted on the swim board (big pool).  Qualifying times are a little more relaxed than State so please take a second and see if this meet is of interest to your swimmer.  

Practice Schedule:

        

        ** If your swimmer is NOT swimming State or Regionals, the last day of swim practice will be March 13!  

        ** If your swimmer is swimming State but NOT Regionals, the last day of swim practice will be March 20!

        ** Regional Swimmers - your practice schedule will be sent out soon.  

        

       

      End of Season Banquet  Date to be determined.  

** State Information:  At this meet, there are individual races and relays.  Even if your swimmer doesn't make the qualifying times as an individual, coaches can still put them in a relay.  Please declare "yes" or "no" as soon as possible.  If you already have plans for this weekend or your swimmer is not interested, select "No" and we will not put your swimmer in a relay.  If there is an interest in possibly getting on a relay, please select "Yes" and we will know your swimmer is available.  How do you know if your swimmer has qualified for individual events?  If after selecting "Yes" events are in black, they've qualified.  You can select these events and sign them up.  If the events are in red, times have not been met for that event.   STATE QUALIFYING TIMES ARE ON THE BOARD IN THE BIG POOL.
