Welcome new and returning families to the Waunakee Wave spring swim season. We hope our returning swimmers had a rejuvenating month off, but now it's time to hit the pool. Please read below for some important announcements!

SWIM CLINIC SUCCESS

A huge shout out to our very own Coach Chris for organizing and coaching our off season swim clinics. These clinics were utilized by over a third of our swimmers and were a huge success. Our younger swimmers had a chance to refine their technique with personalized coaching in a smaller instructional setting. And our veteran swimmers kept up with their training via rigorous practice sets designed by our Waunakee Wave coaches. 

APRIL 2ND NEW SWIMMER AND FAMILY NIGHT

We would like to extend a giant welcome to our new swimmers and families as we enter this new season. This Tuesday, April 2nd from 6-7pm will be dedicated to helping our new swimmers and families onboard.  Most of the time for swimmers will be spent out of the water with coaches, but wear your suit as there will be pool time. Families should also attend so they can meet with our Board to learn more about what it means to be a part of our Waunakee Wave swim family.

APRIL 3RD OFFICIAL SEASON START

Be sure to check out the spring schedules as our spring practice season officially launches on Wednesday, April 3rd. For our seniors, this includes the start to our dryland experience at Harbor. Don’t forget to double check the schedule for your correct group and practice times. 

WAUNAKEE WAVE HANDBOOK

All families–old and new– should make themselves familiar with our Waunakee Wave Handbook. The Handbook includes information about our mission, policies and expectations for swimmers and families. Thank you to our members for bookmarking this important document that is sure to hold the answers to all of your Wave related questions.
