Rain, rain (snow, snow?), go away!! It’s time to launch our 2024 Waunakee Wave Spring Swim Season! Read below for some important information. And be sure to check your inbox weekly for the most up to date Wave news!
SPRING SEASON STARTS TODAY
Our spring practice season officially launches TODAY, Wednesday, April 3rd. For our seniors, this includes the start to our dryland experience at Harbor. Don’t forget to double check the schedule for your correct group and practice times.
NEW SWIMMER NIGHT RESCHEDULED FOR TONIGHT
All the best laid plans, and then it snows in April! Go figure. Thanks to our new families for their flexibility. We can’t wait to see you TONIGHT, Wednesday, April 3rd from 6-7pm, for our “New Swimmer Night.” Swimmers should be prepared to swim. Families should plan to meet in the bleachers to hear about our program from a few of our Wave Board members.
DRYLAND AT HARBOR ATHLETIC CLUB
Dryland at Harbor Athletic Club (HAC) starts TODAY (5:30-6:30pm) for Senior and AG Gold swimmers. Please enter the main Harbor Building at 2529 Allen Boulevard in Middleton and ask for directions to the Sports Court. Swimmers will be given a release form to complete before the next session. Make sure to look at the calendar on the website for the most up to date information about where and when dryland will meet.
Mondays: Main Building, 2529 Allen Boulevard, Meet on Sport Court
Wednesdays: Wellness Center, 2711 Allen Boulevard, take elevator to lower level
Fridays: Wellness Center, 2711 Allen Boulevard, take elevator to lower level
Saturdays: Main Building, 2529 Allen Boulevard, Meet on Sport Court
MEET ENTRIES DUE APRIL 6th
It's hard to believe, but our first meet is just around the corner. Make sure to mark your calendars and to commit for the BDSC meet by 4/6. This meet is intended for swimmers in AG Silver and above. Reach out to Coach Sandy if you have questions.
SAVE THE DATE
Our spring Wave picnic is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, May 19th. We are working on locking down a time and location. Stay tuned for more detail.
WAUNAKEE WAVE HANDBOOK/WEBSITE
All families–old and new– should make themselves familiar with our Waunakee Wave Handbook. The Handbook includes information about our mission, policies and expectations for swimmers and families.
