EIGHT WYOMING SWIMMERS COMPETE AT AGE GROUP ZONES!

For the first time in several years, Wyoming Swimming sent eight (8) athletes to Elk Grove to compete in the Western Zone Age Group Championships.  The team was led by Head Coach Dave Hoch with assistance from coach/chaperone Sarah DeLay.

The eight athletes who attended were:

Dylann Anderson, Abigail Baxter, Shaye Byram, Adalyn DeLay, Kloe Fjell, Gavin Jorgensen, Jacob Laborde and Gilby Schaefer.

Top 30 finishes were turned in by:

Shaye Byram (11-12) - 50 fly - 21st place, 50 back - 20th place, 50 free - 23rd place

Adalyn DeLay (13-14) - 100 breast - 20th place, 200 back - 27th place, 200 breast - 29th place

Kloe Fjell (13-14) - 50 free - 30th place

Gilby Schaefer (11-12) - 100 back - 17th Place, 50 fly - 30th place, 200 IM - 25th place, 50 free - 23rd place

Girls 14 & U 200 medley relay of Adalyn, Abigail, Shaye and Kloe - 22nd place

Girls 14 & U 200 free relay of Adalyn, Shaye, Abigail and Kloe - 22nd place

Mixed 12 & U 200 free relay of Jacob, Gilby, Dylann and Shaye - 17th place
