Training Plan this week:
Monday: Heavy Kick - Resistance to Assistance - Starts - Turns - Finishes
Tuesday: Drill - Technique - Broken Swims
Wednesday: Tempo - Pace - Assistance
Thursday: Misc. Preparation
Friday: Misc. Preparation (Coach Tripp at Sectionals)
Saturday and Sunday: Updates and Reminders will be sent out as needed from WAGS and Sectionals.
2. In these next days leading up to WAGS and Sectionals. Try your best to stay focused on specific details in and out of the pool.
Examples:
- Say something postive to yourself or someone eles.
- Get rest.
- Wash your hands.
- Fuel your body with the good fuel.
- Stay hydrated.
- Stretch.
- Visualize your races the way you want to race them.
3. I challenge you to find 3 things you want to own for your portfolio of swims these coming days and meets ahead.
Examples:
1. I will not let my stroke rate drop in and out of my turns!
- Get off your walls!
2. I will streamline tighter off of every wall!
- Science says so!
3. I will go right away!
- You will never know unless you...... GO!
