Updates and Reminders Senior Silver & Gold October 4th - 12th
Hello Senior Silver and Gold Swimmers and Parents,
1. 2025 “Our Rising Tide” 16 & Under Short Course Prelims / Finals Meet October 31st - November 2nd at NOVA.
- Several of you are qualified for this meet and have not signed up yet.
- My entry deadline is Monday October 6th.
- If you are NOT ABLE to attend this event, please DECLINE the event today.
2. Legends Of Coaches Meet taking place November 6th - 9th at La Mirada.
- For those swimming in this meet, you are not swimming at the 2025 “Our Rising Tide” Meet.
- Entries are sent in and updates and reminders will be sent out as we approach this event.
3. Meets listed above you will rest for.
- How many days until the 2025 "Our Rising Tide Meet?

- How many practices will you attend leading up to your meet in an effort to enjoy and celebrate the opportunity to rest?
4. Perseverance.
We discussed perseverance this morning at practice, as well as talking about being deliberate and intentional in what we do in the pool and in life.
- Perseverance is the steady and continued effort to achieve a goal or overcoming a challenge, even when facing difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement.
Don't give up, no matter how hard it gets. Stay focused, determined and consistent until you reach what you are working toward. Set yourself apart in everything you do at every practice!
5. October 11th Beach Practice.
- If you are NOT ABLE to attend this event, please DECLINE the event today.
- We will still run our regular practice on the 11th @ MMHS
- Dryland 7:00-7:30am
- Swim 7:30-9:30am
- I encourage you to try to do a Triple! Dryland, Pool, Beach!
- Additional information regarding our beach practice will be sent out Monday October 6th.
6. Blue v Black v White Meet.
- Team practices will take place October 10th.
- For the meet, whatever team you are on, TEAM SPIRIT is expected and appreciated.
- Stay tuned for updates and reminders as we approach practice and the meet itself.
NOTE:
I have been really impressed with the positive attitudes and efforts from our swimmers. I absolutely love the laughter and comrodorie amongst the groups at practice. Friday AM's with our circuit training comes to mind. Keep investigating your numbers, splits and goal times. Details!
