Hello Age Group Gold Swimmers and Parents,

Here are some updates and Reminders as we enter the week of October 20th.

1.  Perseverance! 

"Persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success."

Examples of Perserance you all put forth this past week:

  • Warming up everyday with 10x50 flutter kick.
  • 4 rounds of 8x25 butterly on Thursday.
  • 2 rounds of 5x100 L kick / backstroke / L kick / freestyle.
  • 100 hundred ALL OUT Flutter Kick at the end of 3 practices.  
2.  Weekly Training Plan Reminder:
 
  • Monday Endurance / Kick
  • Tuesday Speed
  • Wednesday Pace / Distance
  • Thursday Drill / Recovery 
  • Friday Race
  • Saturday Race / Challenge Set / Fun 
 
3.  Blue v Black v White Meet October 25th:
 
  • Entries have been sent in.  Updates and reminders will be sent out as we approach Saturday, October 25th.  If you have any questions please let me know.
