Sam, a native of Damascus, Syria, is well known in the swim community of Fairfield County, Connecticut. He utilizes his 30 years of swim experience as a coach for the Flyfins . He previously worked as an Aquatic Coordinator for the Fairfield Y. In this role, he  supervised the Fairfield YMCA swim instruction staff and Lifeguards. He spent the past few years coaching for a 300+ member swim team, and has returned to share his expertise with the Flyfins.  His style is rigorous but fun, focusing on proper technique while also ensuring that everyone is able to  reach  their fullest potential.
