Dec 10 -22 News Updates

Welcome to the middle of December. 

If you were planning to order Sweatshirts/t-shirts those orders were due into the front desk this past weekend ! Checks made out to Waldo County YMCA. 

Meet News - I had a few people asking about the MDI Sprint meet on the schedule, I have taken it off the schedule.after receiving the meet information. It had limited events and Coach Aaron and Coach John have family committments. Our next meet will be after the new year at Ellsworth. 

Practice Schedule- 

Week on Dec 11-15, Normal Practice times Monday - Thursday, NO Practice Friday Dec 15, Coach Aaron will be working the first home High school meet. Come support our high school swimmers, as they take on Erskine Academy. 5 pm start at BAHS. 

Week of Dec 19- 22. Normal Practice times Monday - Thursday, NO Practice Friday Dec 22. Early Relaese school day (11:30, 12:30)  and home high school meet, go watch them take on Ellsworth. at 5pm at the high school pool. 

Week of Christmas school break- I will let you know what the schedule looks like ASAP. 

Congrats to our High School swimmers as the girls and boys started their dual meet season with big wins over MDI on Friday night. 

We are hoping to spend lots of time over the next two weeks working on stokes ( Fly and Breast) and lots of turns (flip and open) into our practices. Lots of learning and improvements are coming along with lots of fun, I hope.
