Lalanya has also been the the Head Coach of the Sherwood High School Men's and Women's swimteam since 2012.

Quentin Rieniets Assistant Coach

Quentin was born in Australia where he began swimming competetively at the age of 7. He has been involved with Oregon swimming since he moved to the United States with his family in 1995. He swam with Chehalem Swim Team until 1998, when the YMCA was built in Sherwood. His and several other families helped to establish Sherwood's very first swim team, the YAWAMA Dragons.

During his club swimming career Quentin earned several Oregon Swimming Top 5 awards and club records (almost all of which were broken by his younger brother Dominic).

When he turned 18, Quentin began coaching for both YAWAMA and Sherwood High School. Since then, Quentin has coached for Sherwood's club team through three different periods of the club for over 10 years.

Quentin's goal is to foster a life-long love for the sport of swimming and to help athletes to acheive their goals both in and out of the pool.

Tiffany Nevills Assistant Novice Coach

Tiffany grew up swimming in mostly natural rivers, lakes, and pools.  Though she dabbled in swim team in her grade school years, she didn't find her passion for swimming until she began working in aquatics in 2006.  While acquiring her two Bachelor's Degrees at George Fox university, she worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor at CPRD in Newberg.

"At first it was a job to pay for college, but my heart was overwhelmed with joy when I saw that I could help a child who was scared of the water not only succeed in swimming but enjoying it as well."

Tiffany Graduated from Fox in 2008 but she loved working with the children (from ages 6 months to 98 years) so much that she continued teaching until she moved to Pasadena in 2010.

Although a busy life kept Tiffany from the pool while her husband completed his Master's degree at Fuller Seminary, when they moved back to Oregon she found herself at the pool again in 2013.

Tiffany moved to Sherwood in October of 2017.  She earned her coaching certification and joined the YMCA Swim Team Coaching staff in November.  Although she is a new member of our staff she is excitedly looking forward to getting to know and serve her new community both in and out of the water.
