Triathlon on 1/26
Good Evening All,
I just wanted to send out some of the information from the Parent's meeting tonight about the upcoming triathlon. We need a lot of volunteers for this event. We will need one parent to check people in. 6 volunteers are needed to tally laps in the pool area, 4 to write down mileage from the bikes, and 4 to write down mileage for the treadmills. Sign-ups are posted in the Jobs section of the app. As long as we have volunteers from the swim team ( parents or kids if they need hours for school or such), the aquatics department will split the proceeds with us!! We are also able to hold a concession stand in the lobby during the event if that is something you all are interested in, we would get all profits from this as well.
We are also still spreading the word about the triathlon to get more people signed up. The event is open to both members( $25) and non-members ($35). Those who sign up before January 12th will receive a t-shirt. The link is below to share as well as on the Y's Facebook page.
