2026 YMCA National Gymnastics Championship

YMCA of the USA (Y-USA), the national resource office for the 2,600 YMCAs across the country, is excited to announce that the 2026 YMCA National Gymnastics Championship will be held June 27-July 1, 2026, in Greensboro, North Carolina. This event will host approximately 2,000 athletes from across the country, ranging in age from 6 years old to 20 years old. The first YMCA National Gymnastics Championship took place in 1938.

Rest assured, much planning has still been happening in the past several months, considering your survey responses from recent Nationals, as well as building on the momentum of our steadily increasing participation. We are working to create a memorable experience for all who attend, including a high energy Opening Ceremony and MANY opportunities to make new and long-lasting connections.

Every aspect of the event will center around connection and community. From Opening Ceremony to Senior Reception to the hotel hub to the competition itself, we will celebrate the power in commUNITY.
